The Visualization Tool Revisit

Hi everyone,

Recently I was reading through the last few months of blogpost and I came across this post "The Visualization Tool" so I decided to write about the "Visualization Tool" revisited :)

Now this visualization is so powerful that anyone can apply it to any areas of your life, be it school, work, relationships, success ... It's simply seeing and experiencing how you want your future to be like...

Recently I was interested in the advertisements I saw, even one of the banks is using the visualization technique : "Dreaming of the future;Preparing For it Today" and there is the iconic symbol of a red arc which looks like a umbrella. *Guess the name of the bank?

To do well in any areas, it is exactly the same. First you must be clear of what you want at the end and you got to see YOURSELF achieving it, how did you feel, who was with you, what were you saying, what were you doing?

This "C" word, the secret weapon that allows this student to enjoy exams.

It is once again the start of the school term. Perhaps a new environment, new school compound, new faces, new aspirations, new books, new look! haha! At the same time, some whined about the new level of "Desserts" (Spelt it backwards to get the true meaning) from school work, teachers faces (yeah, some faces can really give you a different meaning to life tsktsk).
I guess most students are still adjusting to the sleep late-wake up early lifestyle as compared to the sleep late-wake up late.

I was on msn with one of my students when I was so impressed with her attitude towards school work. She is a totally changed person compared to when she was P6. She used to whine on every single thing. Now just a few days back, though she still commented about how tough A-Maths was , it was in the positive sense as she knew that for her to Conquer this mental block, she has to do something. And do you know what she told me. I was shocked.

Differences between tuition & coaching

Many a times, I tell people that I am a Maths Coach. They will like huh? Maths Coach? You mean tutor?

I am more than a tutor. Though coach is often used in Sports context, I still use it for my designation due to what I provide students.

I not only impart the technical know-hows through real life examples, I also get my dearest students to associate the life skills behind what they are learning. This has proven to be more meaningful for them and this is one of the reasons for students to have breakthroughs in their results.

well, to ensure that you gain the most of out this, you yourself must participate! yeah participate is the key! ask all sorts of qns, answer qns the way u think is correct, just do it anyway! it is through participation that we can truly experience and learn at the maximum potential.

so when there are qns, have a pen and paper and work things out! see if your concepts and understanding are firm and clear.

Kept getting F9s for all A-Math exams

Hi,

There is only a month left plus left to A-math O lvls yet i keep getting F9s for all the exams. How do i pass that subject? Have tried doing TYS and practice papers, unsuccessful as i kept getting stuck at all the questions.

Hi xxx,

Good to know that you take action to be better. Since we kept getting stuck at all questions, it might signify your skills and concepts understanding are not firm yet. What I suggest you to do is to look CAREFULLY and examine the questions which you could not continue, ask yourself what is it that you cannnot do.

Is it you dont understand what the qn is asking or you dont have the basic skills in handling the qns?
Well, I can help you but you need to show me 1 question which you have done but couldn't get the answer or couldn't move on.
I will highlight to you what is it that you are lacking.

Cheers,
alwaysLovely.

PS: Time is precious at this moment, get your teacher to help you out or a friend who you think you can trust to push you through this period.
